Our Cabins

Our cabins make it possible to have a complete Alaskan wilderness experience...in comfort!

Sleeping accomodations include: 1 queen size bed, a futon (makes out into a double bed), single bed (top bunk). We've equipped these comfortable cabins with a full bath, kitchenette, TV / VCR and a selection of movies.

The cabins were built in 1998 and provide the finest lodging at the most reasonable rates in the area.

A Sportsman's Paradise

Our cabins are surrounded by trees and near the beautiful Eyak River... the woods are full of wildlife and the waters full of fish! September 4, 2000 we shot a bear right in front of the cabins! And in May of 2001 our yard was again invaded by brown bear. Cordova is widely known for it's abundance of animals including brown and black bear, moose, deer, eagles, shorebirds, otters, and various species of salmon. The nearby Copper River is world-renowned for yielding the best tasting salmon in the world! Commerical gillnet fishing vessels can often be seen floating by on the Eyak River.

For fisherman we offer great fishing, boat rentals, a place to clean your catch, and freezer space to store your fish. If you can't wait to taste those fish, we also offer an area for cookouts and campfires.

Whether it's fly fishing for sockeye salmon, hunting for bear, waiting quietly in the woods for a deer or moose to walk by... you'll find it all when you stay at the Bear's Den Cabins - we're truly a sportsman's paradise.
