The Bear's Den Cabins in Cordova, Alaska are beautifully situated in a quiet, secluded area between the city and the airport of Cordova, Alaska. Our accommodations provide the finest lodging at the most reasonable rates in the area. Located just feet from the Eyak River, our cabins are perfect for fishing, hiking, boating -- the complete Alaskan wilderness experience.

The Bears Den Cabins are located on the edge of the Chugach National Forest, a true sportsman's paradise offering a wide range of activities from spring and fall bear hunting, the shorebird festival in May, world-class salmon and halibut fishing May-Sept. Exceptional waterfowl and Blacktail deer hunting in the fall.

You'll also find great wildlife viewing. Photo opportunities abound in the tranquil atmosphere of the Bear's Den Cabins. We're only 40 miles from Childs Glacier and just a few steps away from the sparkling, green Eyak River. (Read more about our beautiful location on the Cordova page.)

Our cabins are surrounded by trees and near the beautiful Eyak River... the woods are full of wildlife and the waters full of fish! Cordova is widely known for it's abundance of animals including brown and black bear, moose, deer, eagles, shorebirds, otters, various species of salmon, and more. The Prince William Sound truly is a sportsman's paradise.

Whether it's fly fishing for sockeye salmon, hunting for bear, waiting quietly in the woods for a deer or moose to walk by... you'll find it all when you stay at the Bear's Den Cabins.

We have 2 cabins that will sleep up to four adults, and children are always welcome. Our 2 newest cabins will sleep up to 8 people. All are equipped with fully supplied kitchens or kitchenettes, bathroom, TV, VCR, telephone and grill. A fire pit and picnic table are near our private dock. Freezers are provided for your convenience.
